Energy is the main topic of the Science Year 2025 in Germany. With the support of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, the DAAD is organizing a major conference on Green Hydrogen as part of the Science Year 2025. It is focused on:
- presenting the expertise of the working groups which cover a comprehensive range of topics related to green hydrogen;
- enabling young researchers to exchange ideas and network with experts and other interested stakeholders – including those from politics and industry – in person;
- advising young researchers on further funding opportunities for their careers in Germany;
- presenting Germany and Europe as leading research regions in the field of green hydrogen and encourage more international young researchers to cooperate with European institutions.
This conference takes a closer look at the demands and achievements of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Green Hydrogen of the European Commission in the last years. With this in mind, participants are asked to analyse where more potential can be tapped and how the interests of all sides can be taken into account. Featuring presentations, thematic workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions, this event allows participants to share their knowledge and research with experts and other stakeholders from science, politics and industry.
