This year, Enlit Europe 2025 opened its doors in Bilbao from 18-20 November to over 700 international exhibitors showcasing best-in-class technologies for digitalisation, decarbonisation, democratisation and decentralisation.

Nadine May voiced the goals for the IWG Hydrogen and the CSA SET4H2 at Enlit Europe 2025 in Bilbao: “We aim to coordinate research & innovation in hydrogen technologies across Europe and increase the relevance of the SET Plan at national levels.” SET4H2 joined the ETIPs Forum booth in the EU projects zone and participated in a panel discussion on the role of R&I for a competitive EU.

The discussion, moderated by Alessandro Provaggi of Zabala, featured contributions from Ivan Matejak, European Energy Research Alliance (EERA), Pietro Bernardara, ETIP Hydropower, Nerea Rodríguez Cuadrado, Wind Europe, Nuno de Souza e Silva, ETIP SNET, and Nadine May, Chair of the IWG Hydrogen

Together, they explored the challenges and solutions for a more effective R&I support system in Europe that could foster competitiveness and resilience in Europe’s energy economy.
