This report analyses key EU-level SRIAs to identify synergies and gaps in hydrogen research. The aim is to improve coordination and reduce fragmentation in the hydrogen stakeholder landscape. It finds strong alignment across the ERA Pilot, Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, and Clean Energy Transition Partnership, with high coverage of the hydrogen value chain and only a few research priorities unique to the ERA Pilot, such as green hydrogen supply and demand, infrastructure security, and organisational change. The report highlights the importance of structured cooperation between the TWG (now IWG) and European partnerships, particularly CHJU and CETPartnership, while also encouraging broader collaboration with other initiatives to maximise the impact of research and innovation efforts.
